In 2002, the estate acquired 21 hectares of land in Le Capitozze, in the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, at the heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG production zone.
A highly suited terroir where Sangiovese expresses its most authentic identity.
From these vineyards come our three Chianti Classico wines: Chianti Classico DOCG, Riserva, and Gran Selezione Le Capitozze—expressions of elegance, structure, and character.
The same estate also produces olives used for Laudemio, the flagship extra virgin olive oil of Casa di Monte.
